Kahta software coverage — colossal stone heads on snow-covered Mount Nemrut

Kahta software coverage for local businesses

Aksiyon Soft is announcing the scope of its Kahta software service for businesses in the Kahta district of Adıyaman. We build ERP connections, field apps, e-invoice (e-Fatura) integrations and middleware for tour and accommodation businesses serving Mount Nemrut visitors, growers of geographically indicated almonds and pomegranates, geothermal greenhouse operators, companies working with reservoir fisheries and local SMEs.

Our headquarters is in Samsun, and we have no branch, reseller or local office in Kahta. Development is remote, with planned on-site visits for key moments such as discovery and go-live. We announced our province-wide scope in the Adıyaman enterprise software coverage post; this one focuses on needs specific to Kahta.

In short

  • Who it is for: tour and accommodation businesses, almond and pomegranate growers, greenhouse operators, seafood firms and SMEs.
  • What we deliver: booking-to-accounting integration, product lot tracking, field apps and e-document connections.
  • How we work: a Samsun-based team, remote delivery and planned visits to Kahta when needed.
  • Delivery rhythm: discovery, MVP, two-week sprint demos, then post-launch support with an SLA.
  • What we avoid: local-office claims, client names and unverified figures.

How does Kahta’s economy shape its software needs?

According to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s Adıyaman pages, Kahta lies 33 km east of the provincial centre and covers 1,490 km². The Atatürk Dam Lake forms its eastern and south-eastern border, and Mount Nemrut rises to the north. The same source notes that the reservoir has brought the district’s climate closer to a Mediterranean one. Tourism, farming and the lake economy are therefore the three main axes of software demand in Kahta.

Mount Nemrut and Commagene tourism

Mount Nemrut was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. According to the Kahta District Governorship, the archaeological site is 43 km from the town, the best time to visit runs from mid-March to mid-November, and tours depart from Adıyaman and Kahta in rented vehicles. The ministry also lists Arsameia, Yeni Kale, the Cendere Bridge and the Karakuş Tumulus among the district’s Commagene-era monuments. A tourism economy with such a clear season needs tour bookings, vehicle and guide planning and accommodation records managed in one flow.

Geographical indications, greenhouses and lake fisheries

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s Adıyaman Agricultural Investment Guide 2025 notes that Kahta has greenhouses heated with geothermal energy. The same guide lists Kahta almonds, Kahta pomegranates, Kahta bulgur pilaf and Kahta almond semolina halva among the province’s geographically indicated products. A geographical indication makes it important to prove where a product came from, which in practice means traceable records from grower purchase through storage to sale.

A study by researchers at Adıyaman University’s Kahta Vocational School, covering the 2010–2011 fishing season, recorded 162 boats across 11 fishing zones in the Adıyaman section of the Atatürk Dam Lake, with the catch made up mainly of carp, karaca and şabut. Lake fisheries also need tidy data for purchase records, cold chain and invoicing.

Which sectors need which software?

SectorTypical software needIntegration point
Tours, accommodation and car rentalBookings, vehicle and guide planning, season reportsChannel managers, payment gateway, accounting
Almond and pomegranate growersGrower purchases, lot tracking, warehouse stockAccounting, e-invoice, e-waybill
Geothermal greenhousesHarvest and shipment planning, order trackingERP, buyer portal, vehicle tracking
Seafood and local tradePurchase records, stock and customer accountsAccounting, e-invoice, e-archive

What these needs share is the same data being re-typed in more than one place. In tourism, bookings, payments and accounting live on different screens; in farming, the purchase slip, warehouse record and invoice are written separately. In discovery we list these duplications together and aim the first MVP at the flow that wastes the most time.

Why do middleware and system integration matter?

In many Kahta businesses, the booking channel, accounting package, e-invoice provider and warehouse records run independently. During the busy Nemrut season or at harvest time, moving data between them by hand means errors and delays. A middleware layer runs that flow from one place with queuing, retries and audit logs.

We explain the architecture in our guide to enterprise integration middleware architecture. For a ready-made starting point, see our API and data integration platform, and for tour and field-team task flows, our field operations and workflow management platform.

How does remote delivery work for Kahta?

Discovery starts over video, and processes, systems and bottlenecks are gathered in a shared document. When we need to see a warehouse, greenhouse or tour operation in person, we add a planned visit to Kahta, grouping visits around discovery and go-live weeks wherever possible. Sprint demos happen every two weeks, and decisions and acceptance criteria are kept in writing.

Pre-project checklist

  • Do you know the name and version of your accounting, ERP and e-invoice systems?
  • Have you roughly estimated transaction volume during the tourist season or harvest?
  • Is the core record unit clear — a lot, an order, a tour or a room?
  • Are user roles, approval rights and the personal data covered by KVKK written down?
  • Have you named a response time and an owner for post-launch support?

How can Aksiyon Soft help?

Our scope combines enterprise software solutions with API and integration services. Delivery follows four steps: discovery, an MVP that puts the most critical flow live, two-week sprint demos, and post-launch hypercare with an SLA.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Kahta?

No. Our only office is in Samsun. We serve Kahta businesses remotely and schedule on-site visits when a project needs them.

How are on-site visits planned?

We group visits into the weeks where face-to-face work makes a difference, such as the discovery workshop and go-live. Day-to-day development stays remote.

Can you connect our tour company’s bookings to accounting?

If your booking software or channel manager offers an API, we can pass booking and payment data to accounting through a middleware layer.

Can you set up lot tracking for geographically indicated products?

Yes. We can design a record structure that links grower purchases, storage and sales by lot, integrated with accounting and e-invoicing.

Do you work with small businesses too?

Yes. Starting small with a single flow is often the right move; later phases are planned as the needs become clearer.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. After go-live there is an intensive hypercare period, followed by a maintenance agreement with defined response times.

Let’s talk about your project

Add a short note about your Kahta processes and the systems you use to our contact form, and we will schedule a discovery call to agree on the first step together.
